Brick Art – live and direct / perspectives

Online tutorials and workshops

Unfortunately my full-time engagement in arts and education IRL has been hit by the shutdown, which is quite sad in many ways.

Now, after some time of thinking and tinkering, I started developing new ideas and concepts. Luckily a few of my project partners in the arts and education field gave me options to develop new formats. One first project is a short simple tutorial upon creating abstract, structural pictures with Brick Art. It has been broadcasted at facebook. Many thanks to the educational team of the Wilhelm Lehmbruck Museum in Duisburg, Germany and their program CITY ATELIER (Studio) digital.

The tutorial will be in german.

Another one will be a webinar with a focus on interaction coming soon.

FUTURE VIEW and participation

Alongside these projects some ideas come to my mind, of how to proceed with my mission to spread creativity and teach individual artistic approaches.

Now I am considering to make more tutorials and to offer workshops with artistic approaches and encourage developing ones own ideas.

My thoughts lead me to consider platforms and content, as well as reaching the interested audience and what forms of support are legit. Actually I’m considering to use the patreon platform for this enterprise.

Now, if you have similar thoughts in this direction, I’d be happy to to be in touch with you, either directly by mail (info[at]cole-blaq[dot]com) or in the comments at the social media pages. This will help developing this idea and bringing it live.

If you want, you can also sign-in for a future mailing list with information regarding the project. Just send me a mail with the subject ‘Mailing list Brick Art’.

Thank you for your interest

-Cole
