String Theory

Yay, I’m back with some plastic graffiti fresh from the lab!

It started as a blueprint for using technic connectors as elements for creating letters, then I got carried away…

Layers of Paint

Last Year I was presented a fantastic material.

It was a piece of a wall, to be precise a fragment of the paint which covered the wall for the last decade or more. This massive layer of paint contains a sector of hundrends of graffiti paintings. Like sediments full of history and stories…

Although making jewellery was the aim of the workshop, I took a different path. For me, naturally, I had to pay homage to the origin. Therefore I carved out a graffiti style, highlighting the source material, making a graffiti out of graffiti paint(ed) graffities.

This can be seen as an excursion in an experimental phase. I’d like returning to this possibility eventually.

Shout out to Opty for the inspiration!

Hudson RXS [evolving space]

Some time ago I made a spaceship for a blind-pass-along-game. That was a great opportunity to dwell into the depths of deep space reconnaissance.

That was the first version. Later I made another version, featuring a different colour scheme alongside some minor tweaks.

In addition I gave this version a sticker job with various decals.

Due to the increasing popularity I made another version with a custom paint job, meaning that I painted several elements.

Claas Xerion

Following my soft spot for cutting edge farming machines in terms of design and functions I made an adaption of the Claas Xerion. This one was built in addition to the John Deere Forwarder I presented previously.

The challenge was to make it minifig-suitable, that means quite small. In addition I wanted to incorporate the rotating cabin.

In addition here are the break down shots if you would like to build your own version or just see how the construction looks like.

Cole [lightning]

Another brickd’n’painted style.

This is a stand alone piece which allows flexibility in the arrangement.

Shown at the recent Urban Sculptures Exhibition @ Pretty Portal.

Enjoy!

Hot Matrjoshka

‘The fire eating through layers, the core unveils it’s content. Trapped in the eternal play between macro- and micro cosmoses.’

This is a retake, improving the quality and adding some more atmosphere.
