Claas Xerion

Following my soft spot for cutting edge farming machines in terms of design and functions I made an adaption of the Claas Xerion. This one was built in addition to the John Deere Forwarder I presented previously.

The challenge was to make it minifig-suitable, that means quite small. In addition I wanted to incorporate the rotating cabin.

In addition here are the break down shots if you would like to build your own version or just see how the construction looks like.

John Deere Forwarder 1910 G (re-design)

A redesign of a creation from 2010.

Now with more accuracy, details and functions:

  • dual wheel suspension
  • rotating and leveling cabin
  • retractable front blade/stabilizer
  • balljoint axle connection between the engine and the trailer
  • boom arm
  • replaceable boom heads, this version features a timber milling machine
  • versatile load space

Hot Matrjoshka

‘The fire eating through layers, the core unveils it’s content. Trapped in the eternal play between macro- and micro cosmoses.’

This is a retake, improving the quality and adding some more atmosphere.

Off the Wall

This is stand alone piece as well an entity of something larger, eventually.

3.6 x 4.9 x 4.8 cm, interlocked

The stand-alone-piece consists of two perfectly interlocking sides. The two elements have many different arranging possibilities. There is also a version with barbed wire added.

There is a conceptual idea beyond the stand-alone-pieces. That is creating an installation consisting of 16 same ‘Off the Wall’ pieces while each one being individual as well as being part of a larger picture…  Head over to the Kickstarter campaign to find out more.

Crack Link

A retake of one of the first creations from the Enter the Brick series. This was necessary as the colours on the first image were totally off.

This image also serves as my introduction.
